Summer NAPE Prospect Previews Schedule
Nation’s largest oil and gas prospect expo to feature 200 exhibitors and national industry speakers Aug. 10-11
FORT WORTH – Aug. 2, 2016 – Nearly 3,000 oil and gas industry decision makers and 200 exhibitors from across the U.S. are projected to attend the 2016 Summer NAPE, one of the largest upstream oil & gas prospect expos of its kind, August 10-11, 2016 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.
“With the current lower price commodity market, the time is ripe for oil and gas companies looking to maximize their operational advantages with acreage bolt-on opportunities, development partners and possible divestiture entities,” said Bernie J. Ulincy, CPL, chairman of the NAPE Operators Committee. “At Summer NAPE, industry decision makers can explore opportunities of all sizes and spanning multiple fields and basins, as well as connect with the financiers who can make those deals happen.”
This year’s Summer NAPE will feature more than 400,000 acres of prospect acquisition and selling opportunities from 128 cities and 30 states. The Prospect Presentations on the NAPE tradeshow floor will feature prospects from six regions across the U.S., including the Permian Basin, Mid-Continent and Appalachian Basin.
For the first time, Summer NAPE will also feature Capital & Service Provider Previews, which will explore the latest technologies, data analytics tools and financial strategies available to help E&P’s optimize operations and succeed in today’s new price environment.
“One of NAPE’s biggest values is not only the access to deal-making and networking opportunities, it’s the ‘boots-on-the-ground’ insights on the latest trends and innovations in the industry,” added Ulincy. “We’re excited to expand upon this with the launch of the new Capital & Service Provider Previews premiering at Summer NAPE.”
The 2016 Summer NAPE will also include the NAPE Business Conference, which will feature international change management expert Kathy Cleveland Bull, Texas Railroad Commissioner Ryan Sitton and multiple other industry experts. Together with NAPE Summit, which took place in February, Summer NAPE is expected to contribute more than $21 million to the Houston economy in 2016.
