Ellen West Nodwell Joins Oil and Gas Space

Oil and Gas Space is pleased to welcome Ellen West Nodwell to our team of writers.

In 1981, Ellen entered the energy business.  She solves problems related to demographics, geography, mapping both the surface, and sub-surface of the earth, data integration, and governance – her natural inclination towards the geospatial technologies is no surprise, being the grand-daughter of a geologist and daughter of a petroleum landman.  Over the years, having been a technical analyst, a project manager, a data management advisor, a spatial data coordinator, a global manager, and now a business consultant, and writer – Ellen works alongside her business partner-husband, Gus Nodwell, in their company, IntegraShare Solutioneering, Inc., to enable organizations to develop better business strategies and governance, focusing on the use of geospatial data and technology.

She published two articles in 2015:  for Esri Press and for URISA on topics related to managing GIS.  She is also a frequent presenter at conferences.  She writes insights on www.integrashare.com, and joined OGSpace November 30, 2015 as a writer.  She is a member of the National Federation of Press Women.

She enjoys distance running, fishing, travel, writing, art, genealogical research and family time.
